MARKET COMPASS
Wall Street futures are on the positive side after a four-day losing streak for the S&P 500 index. US investors are eagerly awaiting Nvidia’s earnings report to be released after the closing bell today, especially after DeepSeek’s surprise rise. We also think that the news flow about the signing of a mining agreement between Ukraine and the US, which has been rumored for some time, aiming to develop Ukraine’s natural resources, is an important dynamic on the agenda. This also seems to have formed the basis for the rises in European stock markets.
Although there has been an improvement in risk appetite as mentioned above, concerns about the inflationary impact of protectionist policies under the Trump administration persist. Yesterday’s CB Consumer Confidence index showed a negative outlook for economic growth ahead of key US data releases tomorrow and Friday. Digital assets are yet to reflect the positive signs of a turnaround in their traditional markets that have been seen on the equity side, and are feeling the impact of the lack of catalysts for a new uptrend. We remain volatile in the short term, pressured in the medium term and bullish in the long term.
