June Core Inflation Data in the US Fell Short of Expectations

According to Jinshi data, headline inflation in the US was announced at 2.7%, compared to expectations of 2.6%. Core CPI for June was announced at 2.9% on an annual basis.

The expectation was 3%. On a monthly basis, the seasonally adjusted core CPI was 0.2%, below the expectation of 0.3%.
