Record Inflows into Digital Asset Funds: $2.48 Billion

According to CoinShares data, there was a net inflow of $2.48 billion into digital asset funds last week. Total inflows in August reached $4.37 billion, while total inflows since the beginning of the year stand at $3.55 billion. However, assets under management (AUM) fell by 10% to $219 billion. Ethereum stood out by attracting $3.95 billion in inflows in August alone, while Bitcoin saw a net outflow of $301 million. Solana and XRP attracted attention with inflows of $177 million and $134 million, respectively.

Glassnode: Record Sales from Long-Term BTC Holders

According to Glassnode’s on-chain data, Bitcoin long-term holders (LTH) sold approximately 97,000 BTC last Friday. This was the largest single-day sell-off in 2025. The majority of the sales came from coins held for 1–2 years (34,500 BTC), 6–12 months (16,600 BTC), and 3–5 years (16,000 BTC). These groups accounted for 70% of the total sales volume.

El Salvador to Host First Government-Backed Bitcoin Conference

According to Solid Intel, El Salvador will host its first government-led Bitcoin conference. Although details have not yet been shared, this event is seen as critical in reinforcing the country’s steps to place Bitcoin at the center of its national strategy. El Salvador made history as the first country to declare Bitcoin legal tender.

WLFI Token Announces Initial Circulation

According to World Liberty Financial’s official blog, the WLFI token will have a circulation supply of approximately 24.67 billion at launch. Of this distribution, 10 billion will be allocated to the WLFI ecosystem, 7.784 billion to Alt5 Sigma, and 2.881 billion to liquidity and marketing purposes.

Additionally, 4.005 billion tokens will be distributed to public sale participants as part of the initial release. The remaining tokens will be locked for the team and strategic partners and will be released gradually.

Circle Minted 4.75 Billion USDC on Solana

According to SolanaFloor, Circle minted 4.75 billion USDC on the Solana network in August alone. This brings the total issuance in 2025 to $26.25 billion, demonstrating the rapid growth of stablecoin usage on the Solana network.

Goobit Group Increases Bitcoin Holdings

Goobit Group, which is traded on the Swedish stock exchange, has increased its Bitcoin holdings by 1.02 BTC to a total of 11.65 BTC, according to an official announcement. The company continues to increase its reserves through gradual purchases.

“The Satoshi Nakamoto Assassination” Movie is Coming

According to Variety, the conspiracy thriller film “Killing Satoshi,” starring Pete Davidson and Casey Affleck, will be released in 2026. The film is inspired by Bitcoin’s mysterious founder and explores the power struggle between governments, Wall Street, and Silicon Valley. Doug Liman is directing, with Nick Schenk writing the screenplay. The characters to be portrayed have not yet been revealed.
