US Treasury Secretary: No Guarantee the US Will Not Go into Recession
In an interview with NBC, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessant stated that the possibility of the US economy entering a recession cannot be completely ruled out. South Korea’s Central Bank: We Never Considered Adding Bitcoin to Foreign Exchange Reserves
According to Korea Economic Television, the Central Bank of South Korea announced that they have never considered including Bitcoin in their foreign exchange reserves. In response to a question from Cha Gwi-geun, a member of the National Assembly, the Central Bank stated that Bitcoin is not suitable to be added to reserves due to its high volatility and risks in cash conversion costs. The central bank also stated that Bitcoin does not meet IMF foreign exchange reserve standards and that the European Central Bank, Swiss National Bank and the Japanese government also oppose Bitcoin reserves.
Trump’s Ex-Wife Urges US President to “Drop Case Against Roger Ver”
Marla Maples, the former wife of US President Donald Trump, called on social media platform X to drop the lawsuit against early Bitcoin investor Roger Ver, according to Bitcoin.com. In a post addressed to Trump and his team, Maples emphasized that videos of Roger Ver’s philanthropy have been widely circulated on social media. Roger Ver was arrested in Spain last year and charged by the US with mail fraud, tax evasion and filing false tax returns.
US Spot Bitcoin ETFs Lose 55,348 Bitcoin in the Last 35 Days
According to Bitcoin.com, since February 6, US spot Bitcoin ETFs have lost 55,348 BTC, reducing their Bitcoin holdings by 4.76%. As of March 14, the total Bitcoin holdings of these ETFs had fallen to $93.25 billion, equivalent to 5.6% of the total market capitalization.

- Fidelity FBTC: $11.25 billion inflow, 194,269 BTC
- Grayscale GBTC: $22.5 billion net outflow, 193,870 BTC
These three ETFs account for 85.26% of the entire Bitcoin ETF market.
Lazarus Group Increases North Korea’s Bitcoin Holdings with 13,562 BTC
According to News. Bitcoin, the hacker group Lazarus Group converted some of the funds it stole after hacking the Bybit exchange into Bitcoin. The group reportedly now owns 13,562 BTC worth $1.14 billion. This amount places North Korea third in the world in terms of Bitcoin reserves, ahead of El Salvador (6,117 BTC) and Bhutan (10,635 BTC). Only the United States (198,109 BTC) and the United Kingdom (61,245 BTC) are ahead of North Korea.
