According to Business Wire, Strategy completed the public offering of its STRC preferred shares worth $2.521 billion on July 29, 2025.
With net proceeds of $2.474 billion, the company purchased 21,021 BTC at an average price of $117,256. This transaction marked the largest initial public offering in the U.S. in 2025. As of July 30, the company’s total Bitcoin holdings increased to 628,791 BTC. STRC shares will begin trading on the Nasdaq on July 30.
The Smarter Web Company Increases Bitcoin Holdings to 2,050
London-based The Smarter Web Company has purchased an additional 225 BTC as part of its long-term “Ten-Year Plan.” The average purchase price was $118,080, bringing the total cost of the transaction to £19.9 million. The company’s total BTC holdings have reached 2,050. Bitcoin returns have risen to 49.198% year-to-date and 224% over the past 30 days.
