According to 4E data dated April 24, expectations that trade tensions between the US and China would ease created a positive mood in the markets. US stock markets opened the day higher and followed a volatile course throughout the day. Following the US Treasury Secretary’s statement that “a comprehensive trade deal could take two to three years”, S&P 500, Dow Jones Industrial Average and Nasdaq rose by 1.67%, 1.07% and 2.5%, respectively. Technology stocks led the rise with a strong performance. Tesla and Intel shares rose more than 5 percent.

US President Donald Trump stated that the cryptocurrency industry urgently needs to get rid of regulatory uncertainty. Emphasizing that SEC Chairman Paul Atkins is the right name in this regard, Trump said that clear rules are of great importance for the sector. Speaking at Atkins’ swearing-in ceremony, Trump said, “This industry eagerly awaits such guidance.”
Metaplanet’s Bitcoin Asset Exceeds 5,000 BTC
Japan-based Metaplanet has acquired another 145 BTC, bringing its total holdings to over 5,000 BTC. The Bitcoins, with an average purchase price of 12,818 million yen, are funded by share issuance and operating revenues as part of the company’s core business strategy.

Circle, the company behind USDC, is preparing to launch a cross-border payment system via stablecoins. According to Bloomberg, the project has not yet been made public but is considered an important step towards global financial integration.
Bitcoin Spot ETFs Net Inflows for the Fourth Day in a Row: $917 Million
Bitcoin spot ETFs saw net inflows of $917 million on April 23, according to SoSoValue data. The BlackRock IBIT ETF stood out with inflows of $40.632 million, bringing its historical net inflows to $643 billion. ARKB reached a total net inflow of $ 2.997 billion.
Net Outflows of $23.88 Million from Ethereum Spot ETFs
On the same day, Ethereum spot ETFs saw net outflows of $23.88 million. BlackRock’s ETHA ETF had the biggest outflow with $30.28 million. In contrast, Grayscale Mini Trust ETH ETF was positive with a net inflow of $6.397 million. Ethereum ETFs, with a total net asset value of $5.929 billion, account for 2.74% of the ETH market capitalization.
